No it wasn't windy on my birthday; we hiked the Wind Caves and loved it! I think this is a great tradition (started last year with the Superstitious Birthday, remember?) to go on a family hike to mark my birthday weekend. The weather if fabulous, hiking with my kids is fun, something I look forward too and makes me feel very alive to be out and about in nature. The sweating is helpful for that alive feeling, too. In my last post I felt like I needed something to look forward to on my Birthdays so I can like this aging stuff. I'm thinking we need to plan some international Birthday hikes far into the future. Machu Picchu sounds like a good hike to put on the calendar.
