A little Note to Natalie and Patrick:
Thank you, thank you for putting together this great evening out! How glad we are that Patrick's hobby is seeking out cool musicians like the Swell Season. The concert was great; dinner with fine company made it even better (Andrew and Reachel, Cibo is very cool & has great food). Rich and I had loved the movie Once and I think Glen and Marketa were even more impressive in person. So happy to have joined you!
With Warmest Regards,
Becky and Handsome
A little Note to Glen and Marketa,
The chance of you reading this little family girl's blog is zero. That said, I still needed to put this thank you post out into the universe. Thank you for enduring "Arizona heat" to come all the way to the Orpheum theater (it was only April, so we can't really call it heat yet, though I do understand that you found it shockingly oppressive coming from Ireland--and we loved your mold jokes, by the way. But back to my little letter:) I must tell you I find great joy in the thoughtful beauty of your songs. You're musical harmonies work so well together; it makes me glad to think that human beings created them. So, many thanks for the great concert and I look forward to hearing what you create in future days.
God bless you both,
Becky
p.s. I took your picture from the 4th to back row of the memorable Orpheum Theater. Please note I was discrete and did not use the flash. You two seem quite happy together.
And a Note to You my Fellow Bloggers,
Okay, so this was like an amazing concert. Like seriously. So much so that I'm now babbling in valley girl talk "speechlessness" of my early 1980's childhood. It just had that effect on me. Their music is just pure emotion. Harmonies = Extraordinary. Piano + Guitar + Violin = Tremendousness. I can happily add that its a very entertaining show, too. Mr. Hansard lives up to the Irish Storytelling Reputation. The best part about their music is two very pure voices. The lyrics are great, too. The combination makes me glad to be human. If you get the chance to hear them live, go, go, GO! And the Orpheum theater is tre chic! Here's some pictures to enjoy.
Happy Day to You!
Speechlessly Yours,
Becky

Becky fabulous post! We loved your company, no reason why we shouldn't be doing more together, which we shall be doing more of in the future.
