We had a great Saturday before Easter! We had those Belgium waffles for breakfast then hit the Easter egg hunt at Candle light Park(a fine tradition). Since we'd done our Saturday chores on the Friday before we were able to dye Easter Eggs outside (the weather was lovely) and Handsome and I discussed our "dream design" for our back yard (Someday!!). In the afternoon we went to Chandler to try out a newer park there, "Tumbleweek Park" that has a dinosaur theme, a farm theme and a city theme to show the 3 areas of Chandler's past. It was a great park and fun adventure for all of us! We hit Chino Bandito on the way home and Loved It! (of course). Even the kids liked it (once they tried the free samples they were hooked on the Machakas) Feeding our family here was just as inexpensive as McDonalds and a 100 times more delicious. Thank you Chino for inventing Jade Red Chicken and spicy Cuban Black Beans. Who knew Chinese Mexican food would create such explosive flavor? That night we watched "Down and Derby" in honor of our upcoming Pinewood Derby. Many, many laughs and a pinch of inspiration for our own car in the making. It was a super fun day. p.s. kindly ignore my jumbled presentation (can we just drag and drop photos, please?) and focus on the fun.

There's a Chino Bandito in the east valley?! Why was I not informed?! We'll definitly have to go the next time I'm down. Oh how I love jade red chicken and cuban black beans.
I haven't been to Chino Bandito in AGES. Ages. I need to get down to AZ and see you all some time.
What a great Saturday! And I love the Bruce R. McConkie quote--I'll bet your lesson was fantastic.
Everybody looks great. I can't believe how grown up Sophie looks. You'd think she was at least 3 or 4 in the picture.
