In the event that Nancy should turn 30,
always throw a pajama party.
Invite lots of friends, old and new.
(How fun to see you after all this time!)
Serve Ina's coconut cupcakes
(and Pam's chocolate cupcakes)
Eat guacamole from Barrio Cafe
(or at least use their recipe)
Sing Loudly on the karaoke machine
("Wake me Up Before You Go-Go", always a good choice)
Dance Imaginatively
(Acrobatics optional, though highly recommended)
Use festive tissue poof balls as decorations
(ala Pam's talented hands)
Most importantly,
Have a happy, great time!
So glad you let me and Courtney throw you a little shin dig, Nancy.
The last 30 years on Earth have been blessed and beautified by your existence.

(I could easily think of another 100 reasons we're lucky to have a sister like you!)

I loved the sister(?) acrobat tricks. Does that go on in every family? Here I thought we Madsen's were so unique. I would be reported to CPS (I think thats right Child Protection Services?) If they knew how many small children went flying against walls and floors when a trick went wrong in our home.Rachel could toss and flip them around like flap jacks! What a fun party !
The present (and the party!) turned out very cute. Wish I could have been there. See you tomorrow!
What a FUN party! And that gift is priceless! GREAT idea.
So happy that you and Courtney and Nancy let me participate in the preparations and attend the party with all of you young chicks. It was a lot of fun and I echo Becky's comment about Nancy's thirty years on earth. Thank you for the blessing they have been to me. This is Pam, but I am on Becky's computer and since I am electronically challenged, it is going to say that this comment came from Becky, but it really didn't. Love, Pam
OH, how I wish I could have come and celebrated in the magnificent festivities! Becky and Courtney, you ladies really out-did yourselves. That looked like one fabulous party. That's the kind of party every girl dreams of. And the present turned out fabulous. Nice work Becky!
But Pam, you are still a young chick. . . and it takes one to know one! ;) I'm admitting to clicking on these pictures to enlarge then snooping around your cute kitchen Becky. Should I be embarrassed and just get-a-life! Bye you fun girls (is that Tammy in the photos?)
MarySue,
I have to admit that the cute kitchen belongs to Nancy. We don't call her Fancy Nancy for nothing!
I've been missing from the computer world a little lately and am just now stumbling upon your sweet post. Thanks again for the wonderful, and beautiful birthday, it couldn't have been better, and this is coming from a girl who doesn't really even like her birthday! Thanks for being you!
