I love Easter. I really do. All day I told the kids that this was the most important day in all of Earth's history. But I need to get better at having more memorable, significant traditions. It could be much improved. I found a blog with some really thoughtful ideas and would recommend it to anyone looking for a more Christ centered Easter (next year, there's always next year!) Link here. (This mom used to be a producer at CNN--you might say she's kinda on the ball).
I will have to keep reminding myself to be more prepared next year. This time around I tred to squeeze waaaaaay to much into one day and then there's little time left over for peace. Late church start makes for a tricky Easter, but still utterly delightful to have the family over for dinner this evening. And here's some pictures, brought to you by StarGirl, the star and creator of this collage.

Look how coordinated you are! I love it. You guys look ADORABLE!!
Love the pics of everyone! I was trying to go for green and yellow this year too, but couldn't find a yellow cardigan for myself. We ended up green and red which isn't typical Easter, oh well. Too bad we couldn't have had Easter dinner together!
I go to church with her!! She is great!!
Wow Christie! What a coincidence! You can tell her her blog has really inspired/motivated me. We used some of her crafts in primary yesterday--big hit :)
becky how did you come across her blog?
Thanks, Savanna, for the collage of pictures of your family. You all look so cute. Glad you had a wonderful Easter day.
Christie--I was looking at sugardoodle.net for primary activity ideas since I teach the 7/8 year olds. This is the first time I've noticed a link up to her there, but I subscribed to her on reader so I can check out her great ideas. Very impressive!
