When I woke up this morning I said to myself, "I know its Halloween Weekend, but really, all I want to do is clean my house." Cuz boy, do I need to! But after a few hours of putting things away I suddenly got my Halloween Mojo on. All it took was StarGirl consenting to let me paint her skin sparkly snake medusa green. She said it had to be subtle & she wasn't sure she bought into the fancy eyelashes. I think in the end, we had her convinced. What do you think? Luna had the idea to paint her fortune telling hand with an all seeing eye using Bingley's leftover henna. Brilliant! Even The Professor let me spray paint his hair if I would leave his ears flesh colored!
We had a spooktabulous evening!
What did you dress up as?

Love the costumes! I suggested medusa to my crew but didn't get any takers.
Mr. Bingley's hair looks awesome.
Great costumes! Stargirl looks so much like her paternal aunts in that picture!
You have to be the funnest mom I've ever met! Where do you get your mojo and can you share?
oh my goodness becky! too cute. who did savanna's hair??? and maddie's costume is darling! everyone was perfect (even jacob dresses up!)
i love it. i love it. i love it. I wish I had all the magical powers I pretend to have so I could have zapped home to see it in person (but heidi's was great too)
love you!
Adorable, every one.
love the costumes, but I won't comment individually because I forget everyone's names, but just know that I love that little boy's red hair! Will that come out?
Everyone looks fantastic! I especially like the red dye job and the snake hair, guess I'm fixated on hair dos this year, but every body looks great.
Nancy, the henna dye does not wash out, though it will lighten over time. I hadn't realized what a situation this puts me in as so many people comment on his hair color when we're out and about now and I feel a wee bit bad that its not "natural" when people say: "What a great hair color that kid has! Who does he get it from?" I just smile and say, "from his Grandma". She did give me the henna :)
