To Young Love. . .

We interrupt this previously scheduled travel log to share the following happy event (and I am so far behind in my previously scheduled travel log posts that you certainly weren't even expecting them by now!  But it was all for a good cause. . . I had to ready my little cottage for this Saturdays festivities.  If you know me, you know it takes a whole weeks worth of work to get this house ready).  My beautiful sister in law's bridal shower was held this Saturday in my home.  It was oh so lovely and I am just thrilled for her (and for her handsome groom, too, for them both, you know?)

Isn't young love so exciting and romantic! (well,  young to me, she likely feels very old and mature, as I know I did at her age.)  Here's the bride to be with her new sister in law showing off a fantastic quilt Sarah made for her.  LUCKY girl, in so many ways!!

I count myself lucky to have married into such a wonderful family myself!
Happy Wedding to You, Ashely!
Can't wait for your big day. . .

Wow, Becky-- your house looks so lovely and romantic. You have a true artist's eye. That cake is so pretty! If I ever (emphasis on ever) get a home of my own you have to come and add some lovely touches.

Tyler and I are staying at Julie's this week and I love being surrounded by so much prettiness....

Love, Steph McKellar

Becky, you are such a fantastic hostest. You thought out all the details with such flair! And I LOVE Sarahs quilt. Nice work. There is something so fun about the color combo with the chevron pattern.

Looks absolutely amazing! That cake is a work of art. We have fond memories of the get-togethers you hosted during the BYU days. You are a fabulous hostess. Congrats to the bride-to-be!

Might I just say that there were a TON of folks who worked very hard to put this event together. ALL my sister in laws were extremely helpful, but Leisel gonna have to get top billing on this one. It was really thrilling to see it all come together.
