Sometimes Miss Sunshine wears hot pink tights in 105 degree weather.
Sometimes my kids get sunburned from too much swimming. They look like little lobsters.
Sometimes I read books instead of picking up and folding laundry.
Sometimes we all get bored waiting for our vacations to arrive.
Sometimes I think the drone of the air conditioner makes me ornery and unproductive.
Sometimes Bingley wiggles his shoulders in the grocery store when the beginning chimes of Hall and Oats “I Won’t Go For That” is played on the muzak.
Sometimes I make cheese crisps for dinner with a side of apples and peanut butter. We eat them on a quilt in the shady backyard.
Sometimes I really miss the smell of Old Spice Odor Blocker (And really, I wouldn't even mind a little B.O right now.)

Wow, someone commented in Japanese? Ondria, maybe?
I wish PB was the cure to summertime blues at my house. I think it is more like bacon with us. But then, bacon can cure blues anytime of the year anywhere :-).
Aren't we glad that Charlie enjoys his peanut butter and Sophie her pink tights, even when it is so hot.
