A mere 10 days after giving birth to baby six, it was time to celebrate giving birth to baby number four. The BAron had been saying for 364 days that his birthday party this year would be a "Star Wars" Birthday party. And though there was no way we were inviting friends over this soon after having a baby, I figured we could still do a themed party, just a family party (this is our family policy: one year friends, next year family. It is the only way to go if you are going to have this many children! We had neglected to do that rotating for The Baron, this due to my great love of Birthday parties, but at this point, something had to give.) The funny thing is, he hardly seemed to notice that he didn't have a friend party. When I asked him at the end of the day if he'd had a good Birthday. He said, "Yes! It was wonderful! Wicked awesome."
We started the day singing "Happy Birthday" over donuts from Bosa Donuts on Main Street.
I heard he got to wear a Birthday Hat at school that day, too!
And here's some pics from our "Star Wars" Party. We left the costumes in the Halloween bag.
We decorated with our collection of Star Wars Toys
The Baron drew pictures of the toys we don't own.
Saves Money, and less toys to manage, too!

Good job on the cake writing--looks just like the logo. Glad to hear he had a happy birthday!
The Star Wars writing looks awesome! Can't believe that it's been 6 years since we were in MBA school and you gave birth to that cute boy. I really love your idea of alternating friends' party with a family party. I'll have to adopt such a policy soon. Your little Charlie is absolutely precious.
I need to come over and see all your crafts in person. And I need to sneak away from Andrew to snuggle with my new boyfriend Charlie.
That cake is so cute!
I have an unrelated question for you. I posted about your black ikea frame, with the cute fabric and big "B," sometime last year and my friend is wondering how you did the intitial. I told her you printed it and then cut it out. Is that right?
Hope you're doing great, Becky. I'm thinking about you and wishing you all the best.
Wow- I can't believe I stumbled across your blog tonight. You may not even remember me- I met you right before you had your girls Savanna and Madison. I had just had our daughter Savanna- and I think we met at Wymount-
Fun to see all of your cute kids- darling 11 year olds!
Congratulations on the latest baby!
So fun to find your blog- I am not even sure how I did!
So glad I got to be there to share the party and all the excitement with Sam and the rest of the family. Hope little Charlie is doing well.
Sarah, What I had to do to get the letter the size I wanted was trace it on my computer screen and then cut my template out of black cardstock. I'm sure there's a better way, but that's what worked for me!
Alisa, how fun of you to leave a comment! Hasn't time flown by? Our years at Wymount were so fun and seem like just yesterday, but here it is over a decade later.
