More Hyperlinks than Any Other Post I've Done

This is amazing* and you must look at it.

Nie Nie Recovery efforts have taken on a life of their own and I couldn't be happier about it. Blissfest last Saturday was amazing! I even won something at the silent auction and I'm very excited about it. I will post some pics of Blissfest since every descent post needs a picture, right? Sam said, while showing us Mr. Nielson's silouette, "here's the dad!"

Also, I have my tickets purchased for the Mindy Gledhill Concert** this Saturday the 25th at Mountain View High School. I was listening to some of Mindy's music the other day and my husband walked by and said, "Who is this?" I laughed and told him. He responded with "she's really good!" which we already knew, but now he knows, too. And now look at what edible gorgeousness we get to look forward to! Nancy, are you sure you can't come? I can't wait to hear Nie's little ones sing with Mindy on stage.

*Though I do not personally know the woman whose hands must be aching from piping this frosting, I found her link through my sister-in-law's sister and she mentions this pastry chef is "like cousins" with her, so that gives me license to link her to my blog, right? Isn't that the beauty of blogs!!?? I feel I must acknowledge her efforts, but "Amazing Pastry Chef takes the Cake" is way too cheesy. Any suggestions for words of praise? Good Apple, girl, you've got skills.

** Speaking of Mindy Gledhill concerts, if you have a place in your home to host one of her band members and would like to be a part of Nie Recovery History--give me a call, email me or even leave a comment.

I so wish I could come to the concert! Maybe you could save me a cookie.

We've actually met before. I went to school with Richard. Thanks for the super nice compliment! (It's really not as hard as it looks!)

Melissa, I checked out your beautiful blog and was certain I'd met you and your husband before. I think it was at the Miss Jenee concert for the girls musical theater performance, am I right? You pastries are amazing! Can't wait to buy some on Saturday :) p.s. I'm sure they are as hard as they look!
