Recently, I finished reading "I Love You, Ronnie". I loved it. It is the short, sweet collection of love letters Ronald Reagan wrote his wife and sweet heart, Nancy, over the course of their lives together. Many letters are photocopied right into the book in his own handwriting and there's also some really great pictures. His letters are funny, thoughtful, deeply in love and sometimes even silly. I loved getting a glimpse into this public couple's private life and found Mr. Reagan's openness of feelings for his wife refreshing and inspiring. I'm sure a lot of couples feel this way about each other, but how many of them write it down regularly for their spouse to read? Nancy fills in the details of what was going on in their lives at the time each letter was written. When you read it, you'll want to write a few extra love lines to your sweet heart, too. All the proceeds go to the Alzheimers foundation. You can find it cheap (1 penny) used on Amazon in paperback, but I admit to having an extra fondness for the hardback edition. That romantic and nostalgic picture on the front wins my heart. Happy Valentines and Happy Reading.

I will have to check that out!
Happy Valentine's Day!
that sounds sweet, I'll have to borrow it. I keep all of our "love letters" and plan to put them into a book someday too (just for us though).
