I had so much fun playing with my food last night. It was truly the highlight of my evening. . .so energizing to create something new! We had left over pizza dough so we made dessert pizzas. . . One was inspired by smores (with added pretzels instead of graham crackers) and the other I'll say was inspired by wedding reception treats. The marshmallows were perfectly charred. One bite and I was instantly transported to a camp fire. And as for strawberries on chocolate sauce pizza, it really was even better than a chocolate dipped strawberry.
And for further evidence that I must play with my food to keep my mind engaged and stimulated, here are some pancakes from last week.
If you're going to go to the trouble of making pancakes,
shouldn't they scream, 'I love you!'?

I wish that I had the passion for good food that you do. How my family suffers:)
$2 Tuesdays are through August at Thanksgiving Point (sad)...and thank you thank you for the prayers. That is the nicest thing that anyone can do. I have been worried about it healing well. Thank you.
