Yes, I've been meaning to mention that. . .
Luna's play went GREAT! So magical to see your own flesh and blood up on stage.
StarGirl won first place in the district writing contest for Short Story.
It's about a young girl who magically finds herself on the Titanic right before it springs the infamous leak. Great Job, kiddo!
The Professor surprised us all with first place at the Pine Wood Derby. This time it paid off to have a very busy father who couldn't spend his usual amount of time helping on the project!
The Baron has been concentrating on filming lego Star Wars movies
with the Flip Camera (love that thing).
Sunshine has had trouble keeping herself outta trouble!
This bump immediately looked horrible, but it has since healed up nicely.

All this has made Mr. Bingley quite happy.
oh, and p.s. we hung out with this guy last week.
He can only be described as adorable and truly has the voice of an angel.

Congrats to everyone! I don't think I've ever seen Jacob smile that big, I love it, and Sophie looks so sad, no fun. And David Archuletta?
Wait, David Archuletta is from our neck of the woods! How is it that you guys hang out with every single famous LDS person, regardless or not if they live in Arizona?
Oh, and congratulations on your above average wunder kids. I am not surprised.
Your kids will likely be more famous than David Archultta someday! They are certainly high achievers.
yeh we met him it was fun he is SOOO sweet
so great to see all of the kids doing well (except for Sophie's ouch). That was quite a cliffhanger - David Archuletta??
I think we all want to know the circumstances of you connection to David A.
Way to go on all those great things for your kids! A writing contest winner, a performer, a Pinewood Derby winner, and two other adorable kiddos! Like everyone else, we've got to know about Archuleta!
My previous comment is in need of editing...the second sentence should end in THREE other adorable kiddos, not two. I have been fighting a head cold, and I am experiencing major brain fuzz at the moment. I forgot for a moment that you have SIX kids, not five, you wonder woman mama! I hope Sophie's goose egg has gone down. I am always amazed at how nasty they look at first. Ian's been our major goose egg boy. In a six month timespan, as a toddler, I think he got 4 major goose eggs on his forehead. We were beginning to fear that he would sport a bump for the rest of his life. By the way, I love the nickname "Mr. Bingley". It's absolutely darling.
He spoke (and sang beautifully) at a young single adults fireside. We brought a unactive member & Ashley& Leisle. And later we got to meet him!!!!!!!!!!! It was cool.
On David: I was apparently quite liberal with the term "hang out" though it was certainly not my intention to mislead you. We went to a stake fireside where he was a "surprise" speaker for the youth. I figure since people are always mistaking me for a youth, I might as well put that trait to good use and stay and listen myself! He talked in a very "chatty" hang out with the 18 year olds sort of way, so that must be why I instinctively used the verb "hung out". Also he sang us 3 hymns: I am a Child of God, Be Still My Soul, and one other I currently can't recall. After wards we got to meet him and take our picture with him. That's when we really did hang out and we played the whole "so you're from Murray, do you know so and so" Game and he said, "Oh sure, I know her! She and my mom used to work in cub scouts together!" Do I sound star struck? Cuz I kinda am, in a motherly sort of way.
it was sooo much fun. David is my favorite singer ever!!!
so cute.
i miss you becky. i truly am sad that i am just a spectator on your blog instead of being part of you and your kids lives.
hopefully we'll be forced to move to phoenix for more money :)
love your blog. i was thinking about you today because i was thinking about sophie. Lucille is so much like her. its funny. into everything, very curious and very sweet.---and loves babies. i dont know if i can ever have any animals or more babies. Lucille would endanger their life!!
Wish I could have seen Maddie's show. Did you video it? So who substituted for the busy father who couldn't help with the car? We had that problem and mothers are much better at helping with the little boats for racing than the cars. Love to see Sam's Star Wars movies and read Savanna's story. So sorry about Sophie's accident. Glad Charlie looks so happy. Hope his Mama does too.
