The Coolest Baby Tub in the World

Let's face it. Washing a new baby is really not fun. They're squirmy and hate the water. You're wondering if you've got the water temperature just right, trying to hold onto your slick little peanut. You want to clean out his itty bitty nooks and folds & avoid soap in his eyes all without damaging this precious bundle of joy.

The hard plastic baby tubs--you know the ones I'm talking about--do not add to your pleasures. They are clumsy and bulky. The plug never drains all the water. The "foam" in the bottom hardly comforts baby's delicate skin. And really, where in the bathroom do you keep that hunk of plastic? Its all a pain for mama and baby. You think sadly to yourself, I know all these things are true, but that's just the way it is. Are there even any other options?

There didn't use to be, but now there is! Hoorah!!

See that interesting shape hanging from the door in the above picture? It's a BABY TUB! I just got done washing my little guy in this new baby tub (from a company called "Puj"--pronounced 'pudge' as in your cute pudgie cuddle bug). It's amazing. I'm not exaggerating here, even if it is my sister and her husband who designed and created the darn thing (though I did want to disclose that honest to goodness fact*). I LOVE using this tub. It is a dream. I fill up my sink, put the baby tub in, and then when I put my little guy inside, the tub actually holds and supports him so I can use both my hands to wash him. It was the very first time I washed a new infant where I thought, "Hey, that was easy." And as a mother of six, I've washed a lot of babies in my day. Not to mention that the thing is just cool: sleek, beautifully shaped and an ingenious design with the magnet closures (I love those!). It even comes in a variety of colors. I chose white for the spa like effect. Soothing, don'tcha think?

I'll show you pics from Mr. Bingley's latest bath and you'll see how easy it is.

So thanks for the baby tub, Katie! You've reduced the bath time stress tremendously.
Now please invent something to keep my two year old from smearing toothpaste on the cupboards
.

*My darling sister did not ask me to promote her tub. I do this from the sincerity of my heart. I love this. If I were Oprah Winfrey I would give them away on my show as one of my favorite things.

I have longed for that tub, I can see all your points --definitely the "coolest." They seem to be priced for movie stars though. 100 bucks?? YIKES!! Gotta stick with the $10 hunk of plastic, poor Roxwell, poor mommy. boo hoo.

I thought you got a blue tub.

I know the price is high. They are working to get it made overseas and then the price would come down. Right now it is made in America and that's just how much it costs!
