The Baron is Grateful for Great Things.

Today was The Baron's day for prayer*. His supplication was a classic example of how he thinks and went like this:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Grateful that we will have a great time when Santa Clause comes.
Grateful that we will have a great time at school today.
Grateful that we will have a great time when we get home.
Grateful that we will have a great time when we decorate after school.

In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

I'm grateful he's a grateful kid!

*The Baron prays every Thursday, all the prayers. When you've got 5 kids + 2 parents it works out to assign one person to each day of the week, all prayers for that day. Simple prayer system, no?

Sam's pretty good at always having a great time. I like that about him.

I need to pray like that. Thanks, Sam for showing us how it's done.

We have the same prayer system at our house too! It works great and I love listening to my kids prayers. It really does let us have a look into them. P.S. What is Sam's little schedule like. Kali has been talking about how much she misses play dates because now she never get to play with Sam and she misses him.

I never thought of doing a prayer schedule like that. I need to have one more to really make it work. And what will you do when baby #6 arrives? I guess you've got a little time to figure that out.
