Learning It's all in My Focus

Reasons Why Today Was a Good Day

Sunshine is having a happy childhood.

See Evidence Here:

And Here:

I found this inspiring message in my son's kindergarten bag.

(An empowering mantra for both kindergartners and Mamas)

My curious children took pictures of our the enchanting
"Mushroom Land" growing in our window wells.

I listened to "Good Times," "We are Family," and "Feeling Alright."
They sounded convincing.

My floor remodel is coming along nicely (pictures to come).

Mr. Handsome is a good listener. He puts the "um-hums" and "a-huhs" in all the right places.
(Thanks, Hon. I couldn't do it without you!)

Sophie is absolutely adorable. I do hope the marker was of the washable variety. Unfortunately, we have also had many of those "marker mishaps" in our home. Hooray for husbands who listen to us. Jared has definitely coached me through many a crazy moment.

I enjoy your blog so much. I just read your scorpian story and had to have Jonathan read it so we could laugh together. You and Richard have a gift for story telling.

Sophie couldn't be any cuter!

GIIIIRRRLLL ---you are such a good mom. you have to tell me the secret of how to have a good attitude.
if my child did that with a marker......this is what i would say "WHAT DID YOU DOOOO UUUUUUHHHH, IM SO MAD AT YOU ----NOW YOU HAVE TO GET IN THE BATH!!!!!" i feel like i constantly over-react. but i dont know how to just blow it off.

and ......floor remodel? im dying to know, what are you doing? and are you doing it yourself? and how much $$$ will that be? i want to do my floors so bad.
